Tim’s Story
Tim grew up in Harrow and after a brief career in catering, entered the world of marketing, quickly becoming the managing director of an international marketing agency. Tim has a love of musicals and can be usually be found singing to Moulin Rouge, Wicked or The Greatest Showman!
James’s Story
James was born in Essex and grew up there before going to Art School in Surrey before moving to Hertfordshire. James has spent over twenty years as an art teacher and senior leader of education as well as enjoying a growing profile as a professional artist, specialising in oil painting. There is even a painting of his at Hedsor House.
How we met
Meeting as friends in October 2018 and after ‘things got complicated’ and a brief ‘headache’, we officially got together in May 2019, our love quickly developed and on 7th August 2023, Tim popped the question to James after a candle-lit dinner on the beach in Santorini. James said ‘Yes’ after asking Tim at least three times if he was just ‘taking the piss’!
Our family is completed by our much-loved dogs, Marvin, Derek and Bob.
Wedding Schedule
Ceremony
2pm
The ceremony will take place at 2:30pm. We therefore ask that you arrive no later than 2pm
Reception
3pm
Post-ceremony cocktails and champagne served on the lawn
Wedding Breakfast
4:30pm
To be held in the ball room.
Please ensure that you complete your food preferences when completing your RSVP.
Evening Reception
7pm
The party will really get started with live music and late-night DJ in the impressive, glass-domed central hall.
Carriages at 1am.
Photographs
The best memories are created through you being part of the event. We would prefer you to be completely part of our wedding and ask that you do not watch it through a screen. We therefore politely ask you to turn off your phones and cameras during the ceremony
Our amazing photographer Ash from Miki Studio’s will be documenting the whole event, capturing all the special moments.
Carriages
We have organised complimentary transportation from Hedsor House at the end of the evening, to Burnham Beeches, Taplow House and The Chequers Inn. The coach can take 37 people and will do three drops and leave on the hour at 11pm, 12pm, or 1am.
If you need transport elsewhere or prefer to organise your own transport, Hedsor House is conveniently located near Beaconsfield and Maidenhead, it’s fairly remote location means that we advise you to pre-book taxi’s or transportation in advance.
